We have just returned to the UK form our 3 Week Holiday at the Green Garden Beach Resort, and enjoyed every minute of it.

You have some very special people working at the Green Garden Beach Resort who Deserve a Big Thank you - These Include the Three Girls on Reception AYU, IDA and NETTE and the Waiters AGUS, AL, MADE & IRIL and of course KEVIN the Manager - Plus the others too made it Special too but I can't remember all their Names. Can you Please pass our thanks on to MR Paulus too for trying to Locate the Hanging Decorations that were in the Rooms (We searched for ages looking for them, only for Mr Paulus to advise his wife got them in Java Not Bali).

Hopefully we will be Looking to return to the Green Garden Next Year and again Stay at the Green Garden Beach Resort.

I'm sure Mr Paulus knows he has a wonderful team working for him at the Green Garden Beach Resort, but I feel I have to let him know they certainly made our stay one of the best holiday's we've had in a long time, as they made us feel like part of the family not just a couple of middle aged tourists.

We would like to thank you and your staff for the most amazing holiday. Our wedding was so much more than we had ever expected, due to yourself and your staffs’ commitment to making our special day, the best ever.

Words cannot explain, how happy we are to have celebrated our wedding at the Green Garden Resort. I cannot single out any of the staff at the resort, each are individuals, and everyone of them gave us so much pleasure just knowing them, they all, from reception staff, bar staff, spa staff, housekeeping and the all, made us all feel so very special, the little things they did such as decorating our room and making little turtles with our names on gave us such joy, the timeless effort they all took in making the decorations for our wedding really took our breath away, and with no cost involved.

We loved the fact that each staff member knew our name, this was my 15th trip to Bali, I have never come across staff like this.

When we left it felt like we were leaving home. We were so pleased that we could book in for our last night (even though we had accommodation paid for elsewhere). We arrived back and had great hugs from everyone. We were very sad to leave.

We will definitely always stay at Green Garden every year. We will be back for our 1st anniversary in September next year, I will be requesting room 31 ( one floor less to climb up) J .

We would like to thank you once again and please send a HUGE congratulations to your staff, I will be sending them a thank you card and some photos in the mail in the next few days

Thank you for giving the opportunity to give feedback. My mum and I really enjoyed our stay at the Resort.

All of your staff were very friendly and helpful especially the receptionist on the desk.  She went out of her way to welcome us (I had stayed with my son in January 2007) and had arranged for a first floor room as my mum has difficulty with stairs. The waiters in the restaurant (Netti, Astra and Al) were very friendly (although sometimes the service was slow but hey we were on holiday).

I look forward to returning to the Resort in January 2008.

Thank you for your email. We all had a wonderful holiday at the Green Garden Resort & Spa. We cannot complain about one thing, it was perfect. That is why we keep coming back. The staff were excellent and the rooms were exactly what we needed for our family of four.

As far as my experience with the spa facilities goes, the staff were all very professional and friendly. I can’t remember all their names. What a pleasant start to the day it was when we would come down the stairs for breakfast and all the beautiful girls and Putu were there to greet us every morning.

We did spend a lovely day with Ketut and her daughter, then visiting the very special and beautiful Rahayu and her new baby girl. They are the girls we look forward to seeing when we stay with you again soon. Thank you for your very personal and friendly emails and it will be a pleasure keeping in touch with you.

Our only complaint was when we had to pack up and leave your beautiful country and come home to our freezing winter! We hope to see you very soon and we will definitely come back and stay there again.

I would especially like to thank the waiters like Jord and Al and all the others at the restaurant who provided excellent service at all times. There was also one young waiter on a two week trial. He was attentive and efficient at all times. We hope that you can reward him with a more permanent position. Your staff are some of the best I have met in Bali and they all deserve praise.

The prices at Green Garden are an added bonus because it makes coming to Bali affordable but with excellent quality service, food and accommodation. I was quite unwell in the last week of our stay with Bali belly but your staff made sure all my needs were catered for.

He did his very best to help us and always without complaint plus a smile. He’s a very bright young guy and a credit to your organisation. Please thank him on our behalf for his kind assistance and wish him the very best of good fortune for the future.

I had only one minor comment which was regarding the method of payment. I booked the holiday in US dollars and was told upon arrival that I could only pay in rupiah if I used a credit card to pay. Because of this I ended up paying more from my sterling account than at the time of booking.

My wife & I were absolutely delighted with our stay at your Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa at Tuban.

We enjoyed our stay there greatly, the Service from all staff was personal & efficient.

The rooms were terrific, but just a couple of suggestions for improvement: Shelves in the bathroom for personal effects, and in the living area for the kettle etc. also an extension lead or power point on the wall to plug in kettle or mobile phones etc.

We enjoyed our stay with you more than any other of our 6 times visits to Bali.

We actually had a group dinner the other night with 4 other Green garden guests and discussed our total enjoyment.

Thank you and all your staff for helping us enjoy our stay in your wonderful country.

Good luck and best wishes & we will come to visit you again.

In what concerns us our stay in the Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa, we can say that we have been received well in all the domains: the services of the hotel were very serious, the employees of the hotel that we have coast during our stay make a remarkable work with seriousness and with a big respect, and we are anxious to signal it to you.

The infra structure:

1)      The hotel Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa is very clean has are charm and he is appealing.

2)      The rooms are spacious enough and the cleanliness and to return it you.

3)      The greenery gives a complete and relaxing charm.

4)      The SPA that we tried several times was fabulous and professional.

5)      The restoration and the service were to the level and with a big kindness, but sometimes we don't manage to make understand us.

We noticed during our stay that a lot of tourists came to take photos of your hotel and it I think can have that of the good and to make the advertisement in short for your hotel and us happy for you. And it is for it that we will come back to the Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa at the end of year if possible.

I have just received a questionnaire of our booking center concerning your hotel. We are going to present you of all our gratitude and you give the missing star in your hotel for your future guests.

We loved our visit to Bali and much of that was to do with staying at the fantastic Green Garden Resort. Most of all because of the staff. All of them were amazing. Restaurant, reception, spa, housekeeping and grounds staff.


We were lucky to indulge in a few spa treatments and were very impressed by the high standard and professionalism of the staff that worked on us. My boyfriend is currently in his final year of study to become a Doctor of Oesteopathy and couldn't speak highly enough of the massage he received from Popo.

I come from a background of working in restaurants and was impressed again at the professional, friendly and helpful restaurant and reception staff. Thank you so much Sadra, Astra and Al as well as everybody else whose names, I am sorry to say, I can't recall.

The pool and grounds were kept beautifully and the room was always cleaned to a spotless shine. It was also great to see that the resort is run in an environmentally aware way with power saving bulbs, solar power etc. So basically I cannot fault our experience.

The holiday was highlighted particularly due to the friendliness of all the staff. Please pass my warmest wishes and thanks on to your outstanding employees and hopefully we will see you all again soon!

How wonderful to get home and find an email from you! Our time was sooo wonderful. Joel was ill for 7 days. So he just ended up staying in the room and resting in the air con but did get to enjoy a few days. He works too hard and many hours; so I think his body just finally made him take a rest! The cleaning boys were wonderful and patient with him and all the staff would always ask about him, how he was doing etc etc..so that was very wonderful.

Arti at the reception desk was sooo extremely helpful in finding out any info we requested and also helping our friends sort out their understanding of money and multitudes of things. It was their first time in a different culture than the Australian culture. So they were a bit overwhelmed and in awe with everything! Arti was sooo patient with them and always made them so comfortable. All the staff in the restaurant and spa were just incredible. The smiling faces, and small bits of conversation with each and everyone in passing makes it sooo comfortable as a tourist.

We also met a Dutch couple the last two days before we left, that had been staying at the Risata and they joined us for an evening in the restaurant and surprised us the next night coming back because they had such a wonderful feeling the night before in the restaurant. I think both nights we were the last to leave around 11pm!!! They also commented on how they loved the service, the food, the atmosphere and comfortable feel of the whole resort.

On one of our excursions we ventured down to the peninsula and did a hotel tour...the Ritz, Continental, Blue point, and many other hotels in Nusa Dua and that whole area. My husband Joel commented on all those 5-star places were beautiful but lacked the personal and true Bali feel that the Green Garden has. Also the pool at the GG was cleaner than any of those 5star places!! We were surprised to see the Ritz Carlton pool looking very green.... No way would I have swam in it! So, congratulations on your pool maintenance! Also the new fish pond is beautiful!

You asked for any suggestions; just a minor one, I think the birds are beautiful that you have hanging around and really a great sight for tourists to see. So please keep them and feel free to add more if possible...but I think maybe new cages might make them much more attractive and better to see the birds! Many people have a hard time seeing birds in cages so if their little homes were updated it may be better.

The other thing is the breakfast vouchers; sooo often get forgotten to be brought along in the morning. The hotel is small enough that the staff does know by the name if the people are guests there. So maybe just keeping a list at the desk would be less paper waste and people could just give their name or room number and it could be checked on the computer or something like that rather than having to deal with the paper work and waste. Gotta save our trees!! Other than these two things which are minor, I can't think of anything else! Thank you again for a wonderful time. We'll see you on our next trip!

As far as suggestions of improvement go, I can’t say much as we have been to Bali 15 times and have stayed at numerous different hotels - both large and small, but have finally found a place that we feel has everything we need.

The staff a very friendly, the rooms are neat and tidy, the food is very nice it is peaceful and NO children screaming, yelling & crying.

During February we will start planning our return to BALI in September.
