Have just spent 6 days at Green Garden Beach Resort and cannot recommend it enough. The staff were fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful. The service was tremendous when we arrived, with a cool drink waiting while we booked in. Their restaurant had a wide range of foods available that was very good, and was very reasonably in priced. The rooms were nice and big and very very clean. The gardens around the resort were very well kept, clean and the pool was spotless. You should really try the hot stone massage while you are there.

Everything was close at hand, with the airport close by (but you didn't hear the planes), Kuta Square just a short hop away, and various types of transport readily available at all hours of the day and night .

This place was a joy to stay at!

We stayed here on our honeymoon for 13 nights from the 6th November till 20th. As all the other reviews have stated this is a fantastic hotel, the staff are brilliant. They always had smiles on their faces and always had time to stop and chat. We had a room on the 4th floor and yes there is no lift so we had to walk up 3 flights of steps every day but it was well worth it for the view and the exercise did us good with all the lovely food we were eating.

The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. I felt awful every night having to take the blanket off the bed when the guy who cleaned our room had made the bed so lovely. It had a lovely sized TV and fridge and it was really good having a safe in the room. It was also very lovely being given a bottle of water each everyday, a very nice gesture. The bathroom was huge, bigger than one of my bedrooms at home !!

A big thank you goes out to Henry who was so helpful to us. He sorted out all of our trips and when myself and husband came down with upset tummies he recommended drinking green tea and even got us some tablets to take.

It was abit of a walk into the main part of Kuta but that isnt a bad thing, it meant it was alot quieter. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone.

37y.o male traveling solo. This was my 6th trip to Bali in 19 years.
I have in the past stayed around the corner in the next laneway at Bakung Beach x 4 and Palm International x 1 down the road. Both of these hotels are bargain hotels and probably around the 2.5 star and accordingly you get what you pay for in Bali, cheap cheap. Decided to go a little upmarket and stay at Green Garden Beach. Enjoyed all facets of hotel, with only 15 rooms you hardly see other guests (most appear to be on honeymoons or romantic trips away and good luck to them)
The pool is basically yours when you so desire. The hotel was very quiet and had no complaints with spacious room and balcony, air conditioning excellent, enjoyed large bath which you could sit in and shower. Breakfast provided 3 x choices of food, I thought the local stuff was best.
2 x complaints were: a message left for me at reception wasn't passed on for 2 days. It was okay as I ran into messenger the afternoon it was left. Secondly had reception put a person through to my room on the phone from Australia stating some medical concerns which wasn't supposed to come to me, gave me a little scare about family at home. If you've been to Bali a bit you learn to brush these issues off quickly.
The hot stone massage I had at this hotel was easily the most amazing massage in my 6 times to Bali.
Tuban isn't a pretty part of Bali, the beach is average, but I like to be away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. It now has a paved walking track along the beach which will take you to the more swimmer/surfer friendly Kuta beach (15 minute walk). If you prefer, grab a Blue Taxi and for 8000 rupiah ($1 Australian), just make sure the taxi driver puts the meter on, you will be at the Discovery Shopping Mall (main hub and nicer shops).
One tip from my end, if you like the culture and want to get to know the locals, go down the lane where Bakung Beach Cottages is. Drop in there and talk to the food/bar staff. 3 of them have been there over 15 years: Ketut, Argung and Dewa. They are friendly and will chat to you. Even if not staying there, you can go in for food, a beer and a swim. Talk to the stall owners in the street, just grab a beer, sit down with the one you like and chat to them. Their friendliness and smiles will win you over quickly. They will still want you to buy something from them, but that's Bali.

We'll give this great hotel a 5-rating as well. We've stayed now 4 times in Tuban and this place without a doubt was the nicest.

Quiet location, huge clean rooms, wonderful friendly staff, ample breakfasts and a price that won't break the bank!. If you need to have a quiet night in, there are new huge flat screen TVs with dozens of channels to choose from.

Will we stay here again? Just try and stop us!

We only stayed at this hotel for 2 nights but we wished we'd stayed longer! The hotel is very nice, our room was huge. There was a/c, safe, shampoo & shower gel, hairdryer and also 2 bottles of water per day included! The room and all of the communal areas were really clean. The breakfast was included and was very nice. They do a great pineapple juice. The pool is nice too and is surrounded by trees and flowers so seems quite secluded. It is very close to Tuban beach; you just walk out of the hotel to the right, cross the road and you are practically on the beach. The staff are really friendly and kind. We didn't try the massage as we didn't have time but it looked very professional and relaxing. The area is right at the end of Kuta, nearer to the airport, but for us this was good as it was less chaotic than the centre of Kuta. We found the hotel to be quite noisy in the mornings - but not the fault of the hotel, just the noise from passing cars and mopeds and the sound of birds crowing etc. Overall we had a nice stay, thought it was great value for money and would def return to this hotel. In this area of Bali we would recommend going to Jimbaran beach to eat seafood in the evening, it's beautiful.

I stayed here in Feb for a week with my partner and the staff really helped make our holiday even better ( i have been meaning to do this for some time). The staff assisted us so much. They helped us organise day trips out to Ubud and other great areas on Bali island outside of Kuta. An absolute wealth of knowledge of good places to visit. Also little things like to book direct for the Bali Safari and Marine Park to save us money. I was so impressed with the friendliness of everyone there, especially Henry!
